How It Works
Step 1
Fill out the Project Info Form
Share a few quick details about your business and what you’re looking for. I’ll follow up within 3 business days with more questions, and if it’s a good fit we’ll schedule a call to kick off the project.
Step 3
Website Wireframes
Next I’ll work on planning out the wireframes (aka the blueprints) for your website. At this stage is when I’ll also work on the website copy.
Step 5
Launch & Handoff
When the site is ready, I’ll work on the finishing touches – domain connection, SEO metadata, mobile optimization, etc. – and provide you with video tutorials walking you through your new website so you can make updates as needed.
Step 2
Brand Identity
We’ll start with any brand design work you need. I’ll come up with some concepts based on our initial discussions and after getting feedback from you, I’ll work on the final branding package.
Step 4
Building the Website
After getting your approval on the designs, I’ll start working on applying the branding to the wireframes and building out the website in Squarespace.

Meet your designer
I know what it’s like to be starting something new and feeling completely overwhelmed by all the moving parts. You’re building a business, wearing a hundred hats, but your website keeps ending up at the bottom of the list.
That’s where I come in!
Before I started working on my own business full-time, I was a software engineer for 10 years and would come home and spend my nights making art, learning design, and building websites. Which means I know how to make things that are both functional AND beautiful.
So if designing a website feels like just one more hat you don’t have time to wear, you can hand that one off to me. 🤠

See the “Build your package” section above for price estimates. Note that these are just estimates, and we’ll have to sit down and talk through exactly what you need to tailor the price for your project. More complex projects that require more time to complete will end up costing more.

Every project is different, but in general web design projects take around 3-4 weeks, and if you also need branding services it will take an additional 2-4 weeks, for a total of around 5-8 weeks.

For both the website design and brand identity processes, I’ll be asking for your feedback every step of the way to make sure we’re always on the same page. I believe it’s always better to make adjustments early on in the project, so by the time we reach the final stages, you already know what to expect and have had plenty of opportunities to shape the outcome.

Yes of course! After I receive the final payment I’ll transfer the site ownership over to you, so you’ll be fully in charge of your website. I’ll also provide tutorial videos on how to make basic updates to your website if you’re not familiar with how to use Squarespace.

No not really, I’ll provide you with tutorial videos at the end of the project walking you through how to use Squarespace to make basic updates to your website. If preferred, I can always be hired at an hourly rate to make changes to your website in the future.

I’ll need to get some info from you, like your bio for your About page, a breakdown of your services, and product descriptions if you have a shop. I’ll have a questionnaire to help walk you through everything I need. Then I’ll take what you give me and write the copy, keeping in mind your brand voice and SEO.
Writing strong website copy is a separate skill from web design, and it’s often handled by a dedicated copywriter. I include it as part of my services, so you don’t have to hire someone else.

That would certainly help your website look more professional! Strong, intentional photos help your site look polished and tell a more compelling story.
If hiring a photographer isn’t in the budget, try recreating some simple shots yourself–look at Pinterest or similar businesses for pose and styling ideas, and keep your brand in mind.
We can use stock photos if we need to, but real photos (especially professional ones) will always make a stronger impression.

I usually require a non-refundable 50% deposit upfront before I start working on the project (to ensure you don’t leave me hanging after I’ve done most of the work 🥲) and then the other 50% is due at the end of the project. If needed, I’m open to splitting it up into smaller installments spaced throughout the project.

If it’s a Squarespace site, I offer hourly support at $70/hour for smaller updates and tweaks, depending on availability in my calendar. Just reach out with what you need.
